A low carb diet can be anything you want it to be. As long as your carbohydrates are low, then you are following a low carb diet.

This is because the “low” is rarely defined. You just make random food choices and hope they are low carb enough.

By manipulating your macro nutrients, you will force your body to start burning fat as fuel.

This is known as ketosis and it is what gives you an unfair fat loss advantage.

With a low carb diet your body never enters a state of ketosis. As a result low carb dieters are often left feeling hungry and tired.

This is why low carb diets don’t work very well, if at all.
