The Problem With Manufactured Foods (and 3 reasons you should avoid them)

Posted on by

The problem with manufactured foods is that they are manufactured.

These are foods that are made in a lab or factory and then sold to the masses.

They are not real food…..

Just look at the expiration dates. No “food” should last 5 years.

Even worse is the fact that these so-called “foods” have become the new norm.

They have been accepted into society as a safe way to nourish our bodies.

Anytime a “food” is made in a factory or lab, it is not good for you.

Your body is not designed to absorb and digest fake food.

With that being said, here are 3 reasons you should avoid manufactured foods.

They Are Full of Chemicals

Do you know why manufactured foods taste so good? Because they are chemically designed to.

All the additives and preservatives are there to trick you into eating more, and more, and more.

That’s why you find it so hard to eat just one chip, one cookie, or one twinkie.

They are chemically designed to make you want more.

They Aren’t Fresh

Ever looked at the expiration date on processed foods? Many times it’s several months, or even years, in the future.

Nothing that lasts several years in your pantry is fresh, and dare I say, safe to eat.

Real food does not last several months.

They Don’t Satisfy You

Processed foods have no nutritional value. That means they don’t provide your body with what it needs.

That’s why it’s so easy to scroff down a whole pack of chocolate chip cookies.

The cookies don’t fill you up so you keep eating, and eating, and eating.

And before you know it all 32 cookies are gone and you’ve packed on a few more pounds.

That’s why it’s so important you eat real foods.

The great thing about real foods is that not only are they good for you, but they fill you up.

Real food also has a high nutrient density which means they can automatically regulate your appetite so you never have to count calories again.

If you want to turn your body into a fat burning machine, lay off the manufactured foods.

Your diet should be centered around real foods that you actually have to cook.
